“How do you inspire a town to get outside & enjoy the local countryside?”
This was the challenge set by Groundworks UK and a coalition of local charities & trusts working on the ‘Greenheart’ project.
The perfect engagement campaign plan would:
Make the people of Wigan aware of the vast green space on their doorstep.
Communicate the health & wellbeing benefits of being outside.
Motivate people to get exploring!
Here was The approach:
We produced an explainer video for stakeholders.
Posters placed around town in urban areas with high footfall/ visibility.
Location targeted digital advertising campaign incentivising locals to explore and tag a photo.
Interactive Map packed full of info on local places to explore.
