The Wonderful Post Project empowers volunteers, schools groups, youth clubs and workplaces to create personalised, handcrafted cards for older people in care homes & assisted living across the country.

The mission:

Deliver a content and communications strategy to drive participation and communicate with sponsors.

The campaign

We used social media, direct mail, and local advertising to recruit volunteers, schools and workplaces and keep them engaged through the length of the campaign.

More than 200 care homes & community organisations around the UK helped identify older people who’d appreciate a card.

Handmade cards were created in class rooms, offices and on kitchen tables across the country, and sent to our ‘sorting office’.

10,000 cards were sorted and delivered to residents in care homes, just in time for Christmas.
